Meet Corey Sims. He’s in the process of becoming a viral-video star thanks to a very, very large overbid on a hammock on “The Price Is Right.”
After his fellow Contestant Row players put in bits of between $750 and $1,200 on a hammock, a visibly nervous Corey trumps them all by offering up $7,000. Seven. Thousand. Even the woman next to him is all, dude, really?
It goes without saying that Corey did not advance off of Contestant Row this time (actual hammock price: $880). But then again, no one’s going to remember Erin and her $755 bid, are they?
(Thanks to Uproxx for alerting us to this gold.)
