The final moments of Sunday’s (April 10) episode of “Quantico” caused quite a stir, as Shelby (Johanna Braddy) is revealed to be driving the car meant to kidnap Simon (Tate Ellington) and Will (Jay Armstrong Johnson).

Does this mean that Shelby is in league with the terrorist? Or is she perhaps the terrorist, herself?

According to Braddy, we shouldn’t rule Shelby out as a possibility. The cast was not made aware of who the terrorist is, meaning that all of them have to play certain scenes as if they might be the big bad.

“So in my head, while I was doing that [scene], I am not the good guy in that situation,” Brady tells TV Guide. “And going from the past, Shelby and Alex’s (Priyanka Chopra) relationship has significantly changed, so that was what I was trying to portray — she being the bad guy.”

Shelby would make an excellent bad guy if that death stare she gave Alex was any indication. And who knows what kind of massive personality changes could have occurred for her after meeting up with her long-dead parents?

Another potential piece of this puzzle can be found in the promo for the next episode, titled “Soon,” which shows a few shots of Caleb (Graham Rogers).

We haven’t seen much of Caleb in the flash-forwards this spring, leading many fans to wonder what exactly he’s been up to since the bombing of FBI headquarters. Assuming he wasn’t caught in the blast like his father, Caleb could be playing a very long game.

Is it possible that he’s been working with Shelby this whole time?

After all, the voice on the phone seems to be a strange mashup of both female and male voices. At first, it seems to be a tactic to keep Alex from recognizing just who is on the other end of the line, but wouldn’t it make a great reveal if a team is actually behind this whole plan?

Not to mention, Alex’s final mission was to break Will, Caleb’s Quantico buddy and roommate, out of CIA custody. The information in his head might not be the only reason Caleb wants him freed. They bonded over a cult infiltration mission, which is possibly what got Will into trouble in the first place.

“Quantico” airs Sundays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
