Talk about your twist endings! “Quantico” threw us all for a loop with its midseason finale by revealing three CIA recruits who are actually part of the AIC.

Raise your hand if you absolutely did not see it coming that Nimah (Yasmine Al Massri) and Ryan (Jake McLaughlin) would be two of the people under the masks?

So far, we’re also pretty comfortable assuming that Dayana (Pearl Thusi) and Leon (Aarón Díaz) have been in cahoots with these terrorists too, considering what we learned through flashbacks.

We’ve suspected Dayana for a while now, and Leon was always a wild card, but Ryan was a total surprise for us and for Alex (Priyanka Chopra) too. At least we can console ourselves with the fact that these three aren’t genuinely evil — they’re just being blackmailed.

After being tapped to join the AIC during their time on The Farm, all three of them committed different parts of a murder together (though let’s be honest, Leon is most guilty), which is presumably how the AIC is forcing them to comply with this whole plan. The big question is if Ryan is still undercover through this whole thing?

We hope that’s what’s going on, at least, because we’d hate for Ryan to truly be evil.

Someone we can’t quite figure out at this point is Nimah. She’s been by Ryan’s side 100 percent of the way during his mission to infiltrate the AIC, so it makes sense that she’d be with him during the actual attack too. But some of that anti-American rhetoric she was throwing around was pretty convincing — not to mention scarily accurate.

Could Nimah have actually gone native during this whole process and be a full-on terrorist?

Too many things just aren’t adding up in this supposed attack. Why plant a bioweapon that will only kill people inside the building instead of the entire city of NYC? Why masquerade as hostages? And what in the world do Lydia (Tracy Ifeachor) and Owen (Blair Underwood) have to do with this whole thing?

“Quantico” airs Sundays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
