The premiere of “Downton Abbey’s” final season is almost here and to celebrate, PBS has put together a montage of some of the funniest moments in the show’s history.

From Molesley’s (Kevin Doyle) hair treatment — “Can you please keep Molesley in the kitchens until his hair stops turning blue?” — to Lady Violet’s (Maggie Smith) encounter with a swivel chair in Matthew’s (Dan Stevens) office, from Lady Mary (Michelle Dockery) going for a dive in the pigpen to the great soup battle between Spratt (Jeremy Swift) and Denker (Sue Johnston), there’s a little something from every season.

The funniest might be Mr. Carson (Jim Carter) practicing the way he wants to answer the new telephone at the estate, but a close second is definitely Molesley getting drunk and dancing a jig at Shrimpie’s (Peter Egan) Christmas festivities. Wa-hoo!

If you’re looking for more to whet your appetite for the final episodes, ITV has released a trailer for the series finale, which airs on Christmas Day in the U.K. — but be warned of spoilers, and have a hankie ready. It’s hard to watch without tearing up.

“Downton Abbey” Season 6 premieres Sunday, Jan. 3 in the U.S. on PBS.
