"Scandal" star Darby Stanchfield is making her first solo appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" Wednesday (Dec. 2) and to celebrate the occasion, she brings with her some amazingly embarrassing childhood photos to show off.

If anyone had any doubt about Stanchfield's red hair coming from a bottle, look no further than a photo of her circa 1981 in roughly fifth grade where she is sporting a fantastic attempt at some Farrah Fawcett shaggy waves, followed by a photo of Stanchfield and her sister wearing what Ellen calls "Little House on the Prairie" dresses that Darby's mom sewed herself. The two girls are also standing inside their Alaskan home that Darby's father built. So, it really is "Little House in Alaska."

Ellen also challenges Darby to the same game she has put forth to all the "Scandal" stars who have appeared on her show -- a random, weird prop to try to get into a scene. If the prop airs on TV, Ellen donates $10,000 to the charity of the star's choice. For Darby, the call is a painting from a fan of Ellen and her wife, Portia de Rossi, who also stars on "Scandal." That one ... might be a little tough to get on TV, but if Darby can do it, the WIlderness Foundation will receive a $10,000 donation.

"Scandal" returns Thursday, Feb. 11 on ABC.
