'Scream Queens'

The first season of “Scream Queens” has taken its final bow and finally the world knows the identity of the Red Devil killer — at least the final one.

Over the course of the season, it was revealed that Boone (Nick Jonas), Gigi (Nasim Pedrad) and Pete (Diego Boneta) all served as the Red Devil, but there was still one to be discovered and it was none other than Hester Ulrich (Lea Michele), who worked her way up the ranks in Kappa Kappa Tau, becoming Chanel No. 6.

If that makes no sense whatsoever, never fear. Hester unleashed a ridiculously funny back story that perfectly explains how she ended up plotting the murders with her twin brother Boone and Gigi.

The twins — who were born in the KKT bathtub — grew up in an asylum and were trained to kill by Gigi. Finally, thanks to Dean Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis) not really caring about who she admitted to the university, the game to rid the world of Kappa was on.

Shockingly, somehow, it actually worked. It’s not often that you’ll see the killer get away with it all, but that’s exactly how “Scream Queens” played it.

In fact, not only did Hester get away with disposing of the Chanels and turning Kappa into something respectable, Chanel (Emma Roberts) and her two cronies are seemingly better off locked up in an asylum themselves after being convicted of the killings.

Who knew crazy people would thrive in a mental institution?

Of course, though they are locked up, it’s clear the Chanels still aren’t safe. The closing moments of “Scream Queens” Season 1 proved just that, with the Red Devil going after Chanel one final time.

That begs the question of what to do for Season 2 of the show. Some of the cast will be sticking around, but will they play the same characters? For the sake of Chad Radwell (Glen Powell), Chanel No. 3 (Billie Lourd) and Denise (Niecy Nash), one should hope so.

Either that or give the three of them a spinoff.

Were you able to figure out who the final Red Devil was before Hester was revealed? Sound off in the poll below.
