Beware, spoiler-phobes: Nowhere is safe — not even “Jeopardy!” The nightly quiz show featured a category on Wednesday’s (Feb. 4) episode called “Your TV Character is Dead to Me,” which essentially spoiled who died on five of your favorite shows.
This should go without saying, since it’s in the headline and in the first sentence, but there are a lot of spoilers here.
Sorry if you’re currently bingeing “The Good Wife” — or if the wound is still too fresh — but the “TGW” clue (which no one got, by the way) asked about “this lawyer and sometime lover” who was killed off in 2014. (Pause for your sobbing fit, we’ll wait.)
The “Scandal” clue opened up an also-fresh wound, asking about Dan Bucatinsky’s James, who was also killed off in 2014. Bucatinsky wound up winning an Emmy for his work on the show.
The “24: Live Another Day” clue, which asked about Audrey’s death in the rebooted season that aired in 2014, also skewed more recent.
The syndicated game show has scored big in recent years with pop culture-centric categories, recently dedicating entire runs to Channing Tatum and Beyonce, plus one clue that asked about the “How I Met Your Mother” finale.
Check out the clues below — how would you have done (if you hadn’t just read all the answers above)?
