The girl of steel is getting some super-powered company on this season of “Supergirl,” and we’re pretty sure Tyler Hoechlin is more excited than anyone about the introduction of Clark Kent.

The CW announced Hoechlin’s casting as Clark Kent/Superman back in June, and ever since then we’ve been eager to see how “Supergirl” would introduce Kara’s (Melissa Benoist) larger-than-life cousin. Having seen the premiere episode, we can tell you that he’s everything we ever wanted and more.

Hoechlin is slated to appear in the first two episodes of Season 2, and his Instagram account is the place to be if you’re looking for sneak peeks.

His latest photo has us wondering if we’re actually going to get a peek at The Daily Planet, since Hoechlin snapped a show of the famous globe-filled lobby before heading into an interview with PIX11 Morning News.

As of yet, Kara has not visited any of the other famous DC Comics cities, though she will be making a trip to Starling City according to Stephen Amell’s preview photos of the huge four-part crossover headed to The CW superhero series this fall.

We already know Kara will be hitting up Metropolis thanks some behind the scenes set photos, but will she be stopping by the famous paper where Clark works?

Here’s hoping the “Supergirl” team decides to go for broke and introduces Lois Lane, Perry White and all the other canon characters in Clark’s life before our short time with Superman comes to an end.

“Supergirl” premieres Monday, Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
