We’ve finally arrived at the end of the line for “Teen Wolf” Season 5, and we knew not everyone was going to make it out alive. Beware of spoilers beyond this point. If you haven’t watched “Apotheosis” yet, you’re about to find out who dies in the tragic season finale.

Sadly — or not so sadly — Theo (Cody Christian) is no more.

After killing, betraying and tricking nearly everyone in the small town of Beacon Hills, Theo finally met his end at the hand of his vengeful resurrected sister. Huh? The details of how and why his sister rose out of the earth to swallow Theo whole are a little hazy, but most “Teen Wolf” fans are in agreement that the little monster had it coming.

As for the characters who made it out alive, the finale definitely kept us on our toes with how much damage The Beast managed to inflict in just one hour.

Lydia (Holland Roden) barely walks away from her fight with Sebastien (Gilles Marini). Watching her sink to the ground, blood pouring from her neck, definitely goes down as one of the most terrifying moment of the season.

Elsewhere, Scott (Tyler Posey) and Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) get trounced quite a few times, and it’s only the memory of Allison (Crystal Reed) that saves Scott from getting his throat ripped out. Scallison fans were more than a little excited to see their long-lost ship return to the screen.

Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) suffers a slight impalement problem, and Malia manages to get shot three times and majorly clawed before finally defeating her mother. Hayden (Victoria Moroles), too, suffers injuries dire enough to warrant Scott giving her the bite. At least she and Liam can now dance off into the moonlight together.

Thankfully, Mason (Khylin Rhambo) does not make the deceased list this season, but he also no longer can call himself supernatural. Not being The Beast might end up being a good thing for him, even if having something that unstoppable on the team might end up coming in handy for Scott’s pack.

As for the Argents, only time will tell who survived their shootout. Maybe they both perished in those tunnels, but we’ll have to wait until “Teen Wolf” returns for Season 6 to find out.
