Theo (Cody Christian) finally showed his true colors to everyone in the “Teen Wolf” Season 5 summer finale. As Scott (Tyler Posey) continued his downward spiral of confusion, Theo used the chaos to try and take the McCall pack for his own.
After subduing most of the pack, Theo almost leaves Scott for dead in an effort to take the pack — the werecoyote, banshee, the dark kitsune, the werewolf with anger issues and Void Stiles. However, Theo can’t kill Scott and become the alpha. Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) has to do it because he’s Scott’s beta. When Liam fails to complete the task at hand, Theo digs his claws into Scott’s side and leaves him to bleed to death.
He isn’t successful thanks to the impeccable timing and nursing skills of Mama McCall (Melissa Ponzio) — but it sets up one intense rivalry for Season 5b.
Before Scott can take on Theo and his new pack of chimeras he has to get his own pack back. That means rescuing Lydia from the brink of insanity, stop the Desert Wolf from killing Malia (Shelley Hennig), regain Liam’s trust after he failed to save his girlfriend and repair the emotional schism he has with Stiles (Dylan O’Brien).
That’s a long road to climb when Theo is at the top of his game and has awakened chimeras following his every order. As he’s so systematically dismantled the McCall pack, Theo presents himself as “Teen Wolf’s” most threatening villain so far. Yes, it seems that Beacon Hills has found themselves an even more terrifying psychopath than Peter (Ian Bohen).
The war between the McCall pack and Theo’s chimeras begins when “Teen Wolf” Season 5 resumes in January 2016.
