"Teen Wolf" has had a phenomenal run, but Scott (Tyler Posey) and the rest of his pack are headed for the end of their senior year of high school, which means that come graduation, we'll be saying goodbye to all our favorite supernatural inhabitants of Beacon Hills.
It's hard to imagine a world without "Teen Wolf," and we still can't quite accept yet that Season 6 will be the last.
Nonetheless, there's a lot of pack dynamics and past romances to catch up on before the final season begins, so we've put together a quick refresher course. If you've been slacking on your "Teen Wolf" trivia, or you haven't been wisely using the hiatus to binge all five previous season over and over again, here's everything you should know before diving into Season 6.
There's a Nazi Alpha on the loose
No, seriously. After defeating the Dread Doctors and the Beast, Scott and his pack are probably expecting to get back to life as normal, but this is Beacon Hills; normal is a pipe dream. The Dread Doctors last experiment, a Nazi Alpha werewolf, has escaped their lab, and Scott will no doubt have to battle him and the new villains of Season 6, the Ghost Riders.
Kira is gone
With her powers out of control, Kira (Arden Cho) has taken off to the desert to be trained by the skinwalkers. Cho won't be returning as a series regular in Season 6, which means we can pretty much kiss Kira goodbye. Hopefully "Teen Wolf" can find a way to bring her and other beloved characters back for its series finale.
Theo is not dead
Last we saw Theo, he was getting dragged into the abyss by his dead sister after slaughtering his pack of chimeras to steal their powers. We figured that would be the end of him, but "Teen Wolf" announced that Theo would be back for Season 6. Let's hope getting dragged to hell by his little sis gave him some perspective, and he's not quite so murder-y this year.
Scott & Stiles are both single
For the first time since the early days of "Teen Wolf" both Scott and Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) are unattached. While we're pretty certain Stiles will finally be getting together with Lydia (Holland Roden) this season, Scott's single status will probably stay the same until the end of the end.
The Desert Wolf is no longer a threat
Malia's (Shelley Hennig) mother and her nefarious plans have been hanging over the series for a while, but now that Malia has drained all of the Desert Wolf's powers from her, we're definitively classifying her as a non-threat. Who's to say what Malia will do with that finally weight off her chest. Maybe she'll take up yoga?
Scott turned Hayden into a werewolf
As a chimera, Hayden (Victoria Moroles) never really felt like she was totally one of the pack, but that issue has been resolved now that she opted to have Scott bite her and turn her into a full-bred werewolf. Now she and Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) can live wolf-ily ever after.
The Hales are still MIA
Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) has been MIA from "Teen Wolf" for the past year, as has his uncle, Peter (Ian Bohen). Last we saw of Peter, he was being held in Eichen House, and Derek left town after gaining the ability to fully transform into a wolf. Peter will be back for Season 6, and we can only hope Derek will return too.
Mason was turned into a Beast for a while
We spent all of Season 5 wondering who the Beast was, and we pretty much never saw it coming that Mason (Khylin Rhambo) would be the big reveal. Luckily, the Beast is officially dead and we can only presume Mason is back to being an ordinary human kid.
"Teen Wolf" premieres Tuesday (Nov. 15) at 9 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
