"Teen Wolf" has officially brought Theo back from the dead, and he seems to be here to stay. He's not exactly on Team Scott (Tyler Posey), but for the most part it feels like he's put his wicked ways behind him -- for now.

We can't help but wonder if Theo is about to get a love interest on top of a pseudo-redemption arc.

After watching Theo (Cody Christian) live through his own personal hell (which consisted of his super creepy sister ripping his heart out over and over again) we're sympathizing with him more than we ever thought we would. He's not a good guy and he probably never will be, but assuming he does actually want to work for a little redemption, we're willing to give him the smallest sliver of a second chance.

Unfortunately, it's hard to be a better person when literally everyone you know thinks you're an irredeemable monster.

So far, Scott wants him dead, Liam has one finger on the trigger to send him back to hell, and Malia has physically attacked him at least twice. Slim pickings for a sponsor to keep him on the straight and narrow.

Weirdly enough, we've been reading some odd sexual tension from Malia and Theo. Once you look past all the anger -- lots and lots and lots of anger -- you remember that Theo and Malia had a decidedly flirty vibe last year, before we all knew what his endgame was. We'd figured the revelation of his dark side had killed that relationship dead in its tracks, but now we're not so sure.

We asked Cody Christian his opinion on the matter, and he doesn't sound totally against it.

"Shelley’s amazing, and regardless of what it is, we obviously have some sort of chemistry on screen with the characters, so there’s a possibility there," Christian says. "I think if fans really wanted to see it, and it made sense, and it fit into the story, then the writers and Jeff [Davis] will incorporate that into the show. We’ll see. We’ll have to wait and see how everything plays out."

We'll take that as a definite maybe. Season 6 has already taken us to places we never expected, so here's hoping if fan of Theo & Malia campaign hard enough, we'll see something happen there before the end of the end.

"Teen Wolf" airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
