Ever since “The Flash” debuted a teaser at PaleyFest showing Eddie Thawne (Rick Cosnett) shooting at his fellow police officers, fans have been in utter disbelief.
How could Eddie, the upstanding man of the law he is, gun down two cops with a bit of a smirk on his face? That reason becomes clear in Zap2it‘s exclusive clip from Tuesday’s (April 21) episode, “Who is Harrison Wells?”
Team Flash is preoccupied with the truth behind their mentor Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh) being revealed. Which makes it an opportune time for an angry meta to take out his aggression on Central City.
Above, you see Eddie and Barry (Grant Gustin) chasing the week’s villain, a shapeshifter called Everyman. At this point in time, he’s taken on the form of a woman — at first, anyway. Part of Everyman’s escape plan includes taking Eddie’s form and shooting the cops.
With a villain that can become anybody — including The Flash — Everyman is going to be a tough one to catch.
“The Flash” airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
