Grant Gustin and Teddy Sears in 'The Flash' Season 2 art When “The Flash” returns for Season 2, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) isn’t going to be the only Speedster in town. After the introduction of the multiverse at the end of Season 1, Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears) of Earth-Two is coming.

The CW has released the first look at Garrick in his classic “Flash” costume — including the helmet that showed up during the Season 1 finale — as Sears and Gustin recreate the cover of the 1961 comic “Flash of Two Worlds.” In it they both rush to save a helpless victim. Interestingly, the victim in this photoshopped recreation is now a female, rather than a male like the original.

While Garrick will be introduced early in the season, he’s not the only other Speedster heading to Central City. Speaking to Zap2it, “The Flash” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg reveals Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) will show up in the second half of the season.

“He’s really going to come in sort of the same way Colton Haynes came into ‘Arrow’ in year one. He came in as just Roy Harper and becoming Arsenal was something to look forward to,” Kreisberg says. “There are multiple Flashes and watching them all try to work together and not get along, we liken it to anniversary ‘Doctor Who’ episodes.”

“The Flash” Season 2 premieres Tuesday, Oct. 6, on The CW. Additional reporting by Terri Schwartz.
