Details on “Game of Thrones” Season 7 are a bit thin on the ground, seeing as we STILL haven’t gotten an official trailer for the second-to-last season. Withdrawal symptoms are getting serious, given we still have a few months to wait for the premiere, but at least HBO was kind enough to drop a new promo for their network, which gave us a sneak peek at a few of our faves from Westeros.

Predictably, all these characters have bundled up for winter — which has finally come.

Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) and Missandei (Nathalie Emmanuel) no longer bare their midriffs or wear cutout dresses, considering they’ve not only departed from the desert wasteland that surrounds Meereen, they’ve also arrived to a pretty chilly Westeros. Sansa (Sophie Turner), Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) and Jon (Kit Harington) are similarly garbed in furs and armor — but the one that surprised us most was Arya (Maisie Williams). She’s dressed like a soldier from the North if ever we saw one!

The premise of the promo is a little silly, but still totally worth a watch to see Daenerys let her dragons make the “ahhh” sound for her. Classic.

Don’t think we didn’t notice them slip a dead characters in the promo, either — looking at you Hodor (Kristian Nairn). His inclusion raises the question: Will we be revisiting some dearly departed souls in Season 7? Why else would HBO trot him out like this? Just saying…

“Game of Thrones” premieres July 16, 2017 on HBO.
