Has there ever been a group of people more suited to robbing a bank than a bunch of magicians? We don’t think so.

In order to help Julia (Stella Maeve) fund her exorbitantly priced magical abortion, the team bands together again to pull an “Ocean’s Eleven” — or should we call it a “Brakebills Six”?

As it turns out, robbing a bank is actually incredibly complicated due to all the magical protections placed on banks connected to the Federal Reserve. What ensues is a pretty suspenseful robbery sequence where Penny’s (Arjun Gupta) traveling magic, Eliot (Hale Appleman) and Margo’s (Summer Bashil) physical magic, and even Niffin Alice’s (Olivia Taylor Dudley) own brand of super-advanced lock-picking magic come into play.

It’s pretty surprising the kids were so quick to help Julia, considering the part she played in getting Alice (Olivia Taylor Dudley) killed, but Eliot said it best: “We’re emotionally advanced; we can hold resentment and sympathy for a person at the same time.”

In the end, Julia’s able to terminate her demigod pregnancy, but it didn’t come without a cost. Eliot’s golem was caught in the crossfire, and there’s no telling what kind of effect that will have on him back in Fillory. There’s also that small matter of the “complication” Kady (Jade Tailor) mentioned to deal with. The last thing Julia needs is more crazy consequences in her life.

What’s most exciting about this little heist is the opportunity it gives Alice to make a deal with Quentin in exchange for her help. For 30 minutes every day, she gets to take over Quentin’s body and do whatever she chooses with it. Will she attempt to escape the tattoo on his back? Murder everyone at Brakebills? Or will she keep to her hollow promise not to hurt anyone?

We’re going to take a wild guess and say she’ll find a loophole in whatever deal she ends up making…

“The Magicians” airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Syfy.
