Jimmy Fallon brought his "Lip Sync Battle" segment back on Monday's (April 4) episode of "The Tonight Show." Melissa McCarthy proved to be a worthy foe in this competition as she not only gave a funky performance of DMX's "X Gon Give It To Ya," but she proceeds to go all in with her cover of "Colors of the Wind" from Disney's "Pocahontas."

Fallon does his best against this stellar competition with Melanie Safka's 1971 hit "Brand New Key." Knowing full well he needed to "step it up," our intrepid host grabbed a pillow and rolled around on the floor to Zayn Malik's "PILLOWTALK."

It's a decent attempt and one that would get the millennial vote, but Fallon just can't match the magnificence and splendor of McCarthy's performance. Maybe he should take a note from the "Boss" actress and incorporate a wind machine into the mix. That would definitely take things to a whole new level.
