The best battle of "The Voice" Season 9's first battle night Monday (Oct. 12) was definitely Dustin Christensen and Barrett Baber's duet on "Walking in Memphis."

"You're both so rad," says Pharrell Williams, and Gwen Stefani adds, "That was an incredible performance, for both of you."

Adam Levine, meanwhile, is chomping at the bit to steal whoever Blake Shelton cuts from his team. "Blake is really, all in all, an idiot for putting you together .. I'm once again shocked that this is even a possibility."

"Thank you, Dr. Evil," says Shelton, remarking on Levine's freshly-shorn head.

In the end, Shelton says that it was idiotic to put them against each other, but he has to pick one and he chooses Barrett.

But good news for Dustin, as Levine and Stefani both want Dustin on their team. Shelton asks Dustin if he's "going to go with Superwoman or Lex Luthor over there." Dustin ends up picking Adam and all is well for these two golden-voiced fellas.
