norman reedus comic con gi Norman Reedus has a message for that overzealous Walking Dead fan that bit him

One rule of thumb learned pretty quickly in Robert Kirkman’s “Walking Dead” world is not to get bit. That infection is a nasty one and no one wants to end up a zombie!

While zombies are not real — yet — it’s also a good rule to live by in real life and one that Norman Reedus is firmly standing behind after Sunday’s (Dec. 6) incident at the Walker Stalker Convention.

As you’ve probably heard by now, one really excited fan got a chance at a photo op with the man who’s played Daryl Dixon on the small-screen for the past six seasons. His on-screen brother Michael Rooker was also in attendance and witnessed first-hand as one 48-year-old fan turned and bit Reedus on the chest.

She ended up getting escorted from the convention and the actor decided not to press charges as it was “just a nibble” but in an effort to use the incident as a message to fans on how not to behave in public, Reedus took to Instagram and updated an image previously used in an issue of Entertainment Weekly to get his point across. Classic Daryl!

Aaron’s a lover of burritos and a hater of clowns. TV words to live by: "Strippers do nothing for me, but I will take a free breakfast buffet any time, any place."
