From a drug-induced "Gotham" trip to an old face returning to "The Vampire Diaries," here are Screener's must-see shows for the week of Oct. 30 through Nov. 4.

'The Strain' finale, Sunday, 10 p.m., FX

The Master finally reveals himself as the endgame for this horror series begins. The fourth and final season will wrap things up in 2017.

'Gotham,' Monday, 8 p.m., FOX

In "Mad City: Red Queen," Jim Gordon (BenMcKenzie) goes on a psychedelic trip courtesy of the Mad Hatter (Benedict Samuel), while Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) struggles to come to grips with Nygma's (Cory Michael Smith) new relationship.

'People of Earth' premiere, Monday, 9 p.m., TBS

This quirky comedy about a group of alien abduction survivors is one of the new TBS/TNT offerings that should immediately go on your DVR. It boasts an all-star cast of Wyatt Cenac, Ana Gasteyer, Oscar Nunez and Michael Cassidy.

'Agents of SHIELD,' Tuesday, 10 p.m., ABC

Get ready for Ghost Rider's origin story, as Robbie's (Gabriel Luna) shocking past is revealed. Meanwhile, Coulson (Clark Gregg) and the team's lives hang in the balance.

'Atlanta' finale, Tuesday, 10 p.m., FX

Donald Glover's hit dramedy comes to a close with Earn on a quest to find his missing jacket -- and it leads him to the club. The strip club.

'The Vampire Diaries,' Friday, 8 p.m. The CW

As "The Vampire Diaries" says goodbye during its final season, Michael Trevino returns as Tyler Lockwood in what is bound to be an emotional reunion.
