Friday night was full of premieres and no real surprises. CBS won the night thanks to steady premieres for “Blue Bloods” and “Hawaii Five-0.” However, it wasn’t all good news for CBS as former hit “Amazing Race” took a nosedive, receiving its lowest numbers to date.

FOX reality concept “Utopia” continues to decline, despite introducing a voting component to the series.

CBS was the night’s winner, averaging an estimated
8.36 million viewers and a 5.3 rating/10 share in households. ABC came in second with 6.9 million viewers and a 4.5/8. NBC (6.17 million, 4.1/8) came in third. FOX (2.18 million, 1.4/3) trailed behind the network competition. The CW received the night’s lowest numbers with 798,000 viewers and 0.5/1.

“Shark Tank
opened strong for ABC and helped the network to a win among adults
18-49; the Alphabet averaged 1.7 for the night. CBS and NBC tied for
second at 1.2. FOX and The CW came in considerably behind with 0.7 and
0.2 respectfully.
