NBC saw the “Grimm” Season 4 premiere hold steady with its Season 3 finale back in May. It also posted the best 18-49 rating since March 21. New series “Constantine” retained nearly all of its “Grimm” lead-in audience, earning 4.3 million viewers, which is OK but not great.

Elsewhere, per usual, the CBS block was big Friday, anchored by “Blue Bloods,” which was the biggest show of the night in total viewers, even including the World Series on FOX. On ABC, “Shark Tank” was the No. 1 show in the adults 18-49 demo for the fifth straight week, though it did not beat the World Series in the demo.

In total viewers, FOX rode the World Series game 3 to a win, earning 9.9 million viewers and a 5.9 rating/10 share in households. CBS was close behind with 8.5 million and a 5.5/10, followed by ABC at 6.1 million and a 4.0/7, NBC at 5.3 million and a 3.4/6 and The CW at 984,000 and a 0.7/1.

In the adults 18-49 demo, the World Series also led FOX to a big win, earning a 2.5 rating. ABC was second with 1.4, followed by NBC (1.3), CBS (1.1) and The CW (0.3).
