flash ratings jan 20 15 TV ratings: 'The Flash' dips in return, 'Parks and Rec' steady on State of the Union Tuesday

The State of the Union address dominated the Fast National ratings for Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015, drawing about 20 million viewers across the Big 4 networks (and several million more on cable). It also meant that a lot of shows took the night off.
Of those that did air new episodes, “The Flash” and “Supernatural” were both off a bit from their most recent episodes on The CW, although “Supernatural” held steady in adults 18-49. NBC’s “Parks and Recreation” was pretty steady, ticking up in viewers from its premiere a week ago but dipped a tenth of a point in the 18-49 demographic. “Masterchef Junior” was even in the 18-49 demo and rose in viewers for FOX.
Numbers for the Big 4 are all subject to change due to their live State of the Union coverage. In the Fast Nationals, CBS averaged 8.1 million viewers and a 5.1 rating/8 share in households. NBC (4.6 million, 2.9/5) came in second, beating FOX’s 4.1 million viewers and 2.5/4. ABC (4 million, 2.6/4) finished fourth, and The CW (3.1 million, 1.9/3) trailed.
NBC and FOX tied for the lead among adults 18-49 at 1.3. CBS scored a 1.2 in the demo, followed by The CW, 1.0, and ABC, 0.9.
