gotham ratings jan 5 15 TV ratings: 'Gotham' rises in return, 'The Bachelor' opens lower Monday

The season premiere of “The Bachelor” took a hit in the Fast National ratings for Monday, Jan. 5, 2015. ABC stretched the premiere to three hours, but the show came in half a point lower in adults 18-49 than last year’s two-hour debut.
Also Monday, “Gotham” was up for FOX with its first episode of 2015, and “Sleepy Hollow” rose a bit as well. CBS’ lineup improved across the board, with “Mike & Molly” and “Scorpion” both rising by 20 percent or more compared to their most recent originals. “The Celebrity Apprentice” held onto most of its premiere audience in its regular timeslot.
CBS led the night in viewers with 11 million and a 6.7 rating/11 share in households. ABC (7.7 million, 5.0/8) came in second. NBC (5.9 million, 3.8/6) edged FOX (5.7 million, 3.3/5) for third. The CW drew 787,000 viewers and a 0.5/1 with a night of repeats.
ABC and CBS tied for the lead among adults 18-49 at 2.2. FOX came in third with a 2.0, followed by NBC, 1.7, and The CW, 0.3.
