Jimmy Fallon has a variety of goofy games he gets celebrities to play on “The Tonight Show.” Wednesday’s (Oct. 29) show sees Jake Gyllenhaal engaging in “Water War” with Fallon — and they’re playing like they did shots backstage before the game. It’s hilarious — and don’t give up on the video, because the winner gets to fire a water cannon at the loser at the end.

Below, Gyllenhaal talks about his sister Maggie, who is appearing on Broadway right now in “The Real Thing” alongside Ewan McGregor. “She is extraordinary … she’s so good,” gushes Jake.

In the final video, watch a clip from Gyllenhaal’s new movie “Nightcrawler,” for which he is getting rave reviews. He plays a “stringer,” or a non-union cameraman who goes around and gets footage of breaking news and then sells it to TV stations.

“Nightcrawler” opens nationwide Friday, Oct. 31.
