It’s something we never knew we needed but now we’re kind of obsessed with — on Tuesday’s (Sept. 9) “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” Jeff Goldblum performed lyrics to the iconic “Jurassic Park” theme.

“In Jurassic Park, scary in the dark. I’m so scared that I’ll be eaten,” sings Goldblum, as he teaches it to the audience. “All things being equal, I think it was probably better not to have the lyrics in the original film,” cracks Meyers.

Below, Goldblum talks about the jazz ensemble he plays piano for called The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra (what?!) and baby names that he and his fiancee Emilie Livingston have bandied about. She’s not pregnant, but they’ve talked about it anyway — the names he runs by Meyers and the audience are “Coda” and “Mingus.”

The response is … tepid. Meyers advises Goldblum to “have fun” with the middle name and give his kids more normal names for their first names.
