We’re just days away from the Season 1 finale of HBO’s science fiction hit series “Westworld.” Many questions have been answered, thus far, but it looks like the network is saving the best for last. With a 90-minute episode set for this Sunday (Dec. 4), it’s probably a safe bet that the show will go out with a bang.

To help whet our collective appetites, HBO has released four new images to tease the upcoming episode. And while we aren’t provided with the solid answers we’re seeking — seriously, they wouldn’t spoil things… That’s not how HBO rolls — the new pics do have us asking all sorts of questions.

For instance: Is that Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) from the past in the above image? The blue dress is a key detail here that would allude to this being another scene from the timeline where she killed Arnold (Jeffrey Wright). But will we see that? Or is she standing on the train platform to meet Teddy (James Marsden)?

Wait, is Teddy somehow involved in Arnold’s murder too?

Speaking of Teddy, this new image finds the host surrounded by a bunch of dead bodies. If his previous memory is right, could it be possible that he is the psycho killer he previously painted Wyatt out to be?

Heck, he can’t actually be Wyatt… Can he? That wouldn’t really make sense. Unless he had his own gang tie him to a tree and leave him for dead — but if he did that, then Teddy’s got more than a few screws loose.

And speaking of loose screws…

Sunday’s (Nov. 27) episode found Maeve (Thandie Newton) recruiting Hector (Rodrigo Santoro) into her plan to escape Westworld once and for all. And as we saw in the first episode — and multiple ones since then — where Hector goes, Armistice (Ingrid Bolsø Berdal) is sure to follow.

But while we previously witnessed the woman with the snake tattoo and the Man in Black (Ed Harris) discuss the intricacies of the maze, it looks like Felix (Leonardo Nam) will be the one leading this motley crew on a mission to leave the park once and for all. We’re sure they won’t run into any problems.

And, where’s Sylvester (Ptolemy Slocum)? Since he isn’t in the picture, we’ll just assume Maeve killed him… Permanently, this time.

And this leaves us with The Man in Black and Dolores.

Since the first episode, we’ve been given some backstory — visions, memories and clues — that Dolores and the Man in Black have a history. He’s been coming to the park for 30 years and she’s the oldest host Delos has to offer. While it hasn’t firmly been confirmed that William and the Man in Black are the same person, it looks like we’ll finally be given answers regarding Dolores’s past.

After Episode 9, which put Dolores directly in the mysterious man’s path, the above image shows the Man in Black taking her through a small cemetery. Back in Episode 4, titled “Dissonance Theory,” we previously saw Dolores digging up the grave in the picture. The marker reads: “DOLORES ABERNATHY.” But who is actually buried there?

Is the park’s oldest host named after a person who died in the park? Or… Does William (Jimmi Simpson) end up killing Dolores in his timeline, burying her out near the church?

That might explain the bell that’s attached to the cross. This practice was used at one point to make sure a premature burial did not happen. But how is one to know if the person in the coffin is dead if the body in question is actually a robot?

While we will be asking these questions for the duration of the week, we should all at least take comfort in the fact that Sunday’s finale will wrap up all the loose ends of Season 1. Where Season 2 will pick up, at this point, is anyone’s guess.

“Westworld’s” Season 1 finale airs Sunday, Dec. 4 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO.
