It’s here! The first full-length trailer for “Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp,” Netflix’s prequel to the 2001 cult classic comedy.
The trailer teases that “summer is full of firsts” — first jobs, first crushes and the first day of camp. Which Paul Rudd’s Andy arrives at on a motorcycle, wondering why it smells weird. “Who beefed?”
The camp directors would like to remind counselors that there are “no relations between campers and counselors,” which includes “dry humping,” “wet humping” and something called “salt water taffying.”
There are also some tips for new campers:
- Remember to wear suntan lotion.
- It’s totally normal to cry on the first night of camp.
- The sign up sheet for archery is posted on the target. PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHILE SIGNING UP FOR ARCHERY!
- Poison ivy is real.
- Also, for all new counselors, please report immediately for orientation and a mandatory STD check.
