It was November, 2015 when Seth Rollins was forced to relinquish his WWE World Heavyweight Championship due to injury, but he’s back and he immediately made a big statement at “WWE Extreme Rules.”

After a hard-fought victory against AJ Styles, current champion Roman Reigns found out the hard way that Rollins was back when he was planted into the ground with a pedigree. Not a great way for Reigns to end his night, but the intention is clear. Rollins is back for the WWE Championship he never lost and he’ll stop at nothing to get it.

That sets up a ready-made feud for the title heading into “Money in the Bank” on June 19 — coincidentally this was the event that made Rollins a breakout star, when he won the “Money in the Bank” ladder match that earned him a shot at the championship in 2014.

Now the question is where does this leave AJ Styles. After main eventing two WWE pay per views in a row — and coming up empty both times — it looks like he’s moving out of the title picture to make room for Rollins. Hopefully whatever comes next for him and The Club — Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows.
