Zachary Levi has already demonstrated his singing skills in the film “Tangled” and his recent Broadway stint in “First Date.” Now the former “Chuck” star is eyeing a half-hour musical comedy to go to NBC, Deadline reports.
If the show goes to production, Levi would co-executive produce “Tuned” with Eva Longoria and her production company UnbeliEVAble. The show would focus on a New York City man, Levi, who’s seemingly perfect life starts to be derailed by musical hallucinations. No word on if Jonny Lee Miller will be dropping by.
“Tuned” will be penned by “Made of Honor” scribes Deborah Kaplan and Harry Elfont. The show would be an additional commitment from Longoria who is in talks with NBC and ABC for two other potential projects.
