Many may know Day from her time as Charlie on “Supernatural,” but her fan base actually extends across several platforms. She was the lead in Joss Whedon’s viral “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog” and created her own web series “The Guild” based loosely on her life as a gamer.
“The Guild” earned Day and her cast and crew a YouTube award for Best Series, the Yahoo! Video Award for Best Series, and 2009 Streamy Awards for Best Comedy Web Series, Best Female Actor in a Comedy Web Series, and Best Ensemble Cast in a Web Series. Most importantly, it lead to Day creating the premium YouTube channel Geek & Sundry, where she still hosts several web shows a week.
That’s right. Felicia Day is much more than a quirky actress on “Supernatural.” She’s a writer, director, gamer and content creator. As one of the most influential voices on YouTube and Tumblr, Day makes sure to use her voice to stand up for those that feel a little awkward or uncomfortable on the internet.

Being that level of awesome is how Day was able to take out big names like “Sleepy Hollow’s” Orlando Jones and “Parks and Recreation” star Aziz Ansari in the Zap2it Social Media Showdown.
As the Queen of Tumblr, Day will move on to the final four of the entire competition where she’ll face the champions of the other social media platforms. She’ll need your votes to win the overall showdown — and wouldn’t that be amazing? Not only is Day the only female left in the competition, but she’s a TV star that uses her social media powers for good.
Seriously — how could you not vote for this face?
